One of the things that I had to cut out of my lifestyle was the drinking of soda pop. (Notice I included both terms for everyone to feel included.) I stopped drinking the sugar stuff over two years now and have stopped with
the diet stuff for about 3 months. Even though my nutrition plan states
that I can have a can here and there, it strongly suggested refraining
completely. Like most things in life, if you get rid of something, you
need to fill in the gap with something new. I tried just drinking
coffee and water... that lasted a whole week... then I tried flavored
water... that lasted 2 weeks. The only substitute for my liquid binge
habit was and is green tea.
